On July 7, members of the summer practice team of the School of Communication and Information Engineering of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications came to the Memorial Hall of the Battle of Crossing the Yangtze River to carry out a summer social practice activity with the theme of "Re-Walking the Post Road, Seeking Roots and Building Dreams". Under the guidance of counselor Bao Jie, a member of the practice team, Tan Zhuben, interviewed Su Tianning, a lecturer at the Memorial Hall of the Battle of Crossing the Yangtze River, and deeply studied the exciting history of the Battle of Crossing the Yangtze River. Under the guidance of the commentator, the members read the cultural relics and family letters, experiencing the cruelty of war, paying attention to the blood-red reliefs, and sighing at the preciousness of peace. In the process of shooting videos and editing films, the members of the practice team felt the magnificence of millions of troops crossing the river and buried the seeds of cherishing peace in their hearts. They said that this practice is very meaningful, and contemporary college students should play a leading role in promoting the red culture, shoulder the historical mission, clear responsibilities, and strive to be new people of the times.

As the base of patriotism education, the classroom of revolutionary traditional education and the position of promoting advanced culture, the Memorial Hall of the Battle of Crossing the Yangtze River has widely popularized patriotism and revolutionary history among citizens, especially young people, established co-construction relations with many military academies, and actively participated in cooperation, providing summer social activities for primary and secondary school students.
