The Crossing of the Yangtze River Campaign was a strategic battle that determined the outcome of the Liberation War, following the "Three Major Campaigns". Its victory accelerated the process of national liberation. This exhibition comprehensively reflects the entire process of the Crossing of the Yangtze River Campaign, vividly reproducing the magnificent chapter of "crossing the Yangtze River and liberating the whole of China" in a three-dimensional manner, leading the audience into the magnificent history, understanding the heroic spirit of revolutionaries who have gone one after another and devoted themselves to the cause, and inspiring patriotic enthusiasm.
The exhibition focuses on the progress of the Crossing of the Yangtze River Campaign, including the domestic and international situation before the war, the decision-making and deployment of the campaign, the process of the campaign, and its historical significance. It highlights important content such as the strategic planning of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Front Committee, and the support of the people. Through the display of historical figures, historical events related cultural relics, pictures, and videos, as well as scene reproduction, it depicts a panoramic view of the magnificent scene of 4 million military and civilians bravely advancing forward, and praises the great victory of the people's war.
The display content absorbs the latest research materials in the field of history, such as statistical data on the number of supporters and the most comprehensive list of martyrs in China; For the first time, precious cultural relics left by some leaders and oral histories of over 300 eyewitnesses of the Crossing of the Yangtze River Campaign will be exhibited.
		
	
		
	
Historical figures embody the memory of civilization and reveal the spirit of the nation. The exhibition showcases outstanding figures in the history of Anhui, depicting the glorious picture of Chinese civilization with their touching deeds, building a bridge of communication between ancient and modern times, arousing people's emotional resonance, leading people to learn from the virtuous, and seeking the spiritual value behind the exhibition.
The exhibition is divided into eight parts based on history and chronological order, combining characters and events: Ancestors in the Dawn of Civilization (Ancient Pre Qin), Prophets in the Wisdom Starry Sky (Qin Han Southern and Northern Dynasties), Ancestors during Cultural Prosperity (Sui Tang Song Yuan), Pioneers in Consolidating Jin'ou (Ming Dynasty), Advanced Schools of Thought (Qing Dynasty), Pioneers in Exploring Changes (Late Qing Republic Republic of China), Pioneers Advancing in Flames (Republic of China New China), and Pioneers in the Wonderland of Art (Qing Dynasty New China). The exhibition focuses on showcasing 95 groups of over 120 characters, interpreting the changes in historical civilization through these characters, promoting their "positive energy", and silently inspiring people's emotional identification with love for Anhui, love for the country, and love for Chinese culture.
The display refers to new achievements in the academic community, such as focusing on the basis, labeling "one theory", or multiple theories for controversial figures in their hometown; We also referred to archaeological discoveries such as the inscription of General Han Xiaolie in the Yuan Dynasty on Mulan, the "Yuhui Site" in the western suburbs of Bengbu, and the inscription of the "Huantan Reading Office" in Huaibei City.
