On the afternoon of December 24th, the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation at Anhui University invited Zhang Zhang, Director of the Social Education Department at the Crossing of the Yangtze River Campaign Memorial Hall, and Huang Chaoyang, Senior Lecturer, to provide special training for the second batch of students who registered for volunteer lecture services. The training session will be chaired by Chen Zhirong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the college. The Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, some Party branch secretaries, and the second batch of students who have registered for volunteer lecture services will attend the meeting.

Chen Zhirong first introduced the basic situation of both parties' units, the specific content of party building and joint construction, and the progress of the preliminary joint construction work. Subsequently, Director Zhang presented appointment letters to the first batch of volunteer tour guides representing Peng Jin, and encouraged Peng Jin to continue working hard.

At the meeting, Teacher Huang Chaoyang introduced the volunteer service situation related to the Cross River Campaign Memorial Hall, and provided detailed training and on-site demonstrations on two aspects: explaining etiquette and practicing skills, from basic skills to small skills, from language skills to physical etiquette. The students were enthusiastic and took the initiative to practice and give lectures on site, and communicated and exchanged ideas with the two teachers. The two teachers also shared and exchanged ideas based on the questions raised by everyone and their own experience accumulated during the lectures.

In her concluding speech, Chen Zhirong stated that the training atmosphere was enthusiastic and the results were significant, benefiting the students greatly. She hoped that everyone would digest and absorb it in a timely manner after the meeting, strengthen their practice, and integrate their personal ideals and pursuits into the cause of the Party and the country in the strong patriotic atmosphere of the Crossing of the Yangtze River Memorial Hall, making more contributions to the Party, the motherland, and the people.

It is reported that the Memorial Hall of the Crossing of the Yangtze River Campaign is the third batch of national defense education demonstration bases, national patriotism education demonstration bases, and the first batch of national education bases for caring about the next generation of party history and national history. On the afternoon of August 19, 2020, General Secretary Xi Jinping visited the Cross River Campaign Memorial Hall during his inspection and research in Hefei, Anhui Province, to revisit revolutionary history and pay tribute to revolutionary martyrs. The Anhui Hall of Fame is a patriotic education base in Anhui Province, the first batch of national primary and secondary school students' study and practice education bases, a Chinese overseas Chinese international cultural exchange base, a national 4A level tourist attraction, and a national second level museum. The two museums have become well-known public cultural service institutions in China with high-quality services and complete facilities.

The Management Office of the Cross River Campaign Memorial Hall (Anhui Celebrity Hall) and the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation at Anhui University signed an agreement in July to jointly build a patriotic education practice base, and have successively carried out special lectures on party history learning and education. They have jointly held exhibitions such as "The Great People's Educator - Tao Xingzhi" and immersive ideological and political education themed activities such as "I Tell the Story of Cross River Campaign Cultural Relics". Since August, the college has successively organized some CPC members, party development targets and activists to carry out voluntary explanation and training in the two museums. Among them, Peng Jin, a 2020 undergraduate majoring in electrical engineering and automation, has successfully taken up his post. In November, he explained the six exhibition halls of the Memorial Hall of the Crossing the River Campaign for the delegation of CAE Member and Professor Gui Weihua of Central South University. Through pair building activities, both parties made full use of this important position and lively classroom of ideological and political education, guided the young students of the college to firm their ideals and beliefs, foster patriotism, and carry forward the red gene with practical actions to continue the spiritual blood of the Communists.
