On January 16th, the Provincial and Hefei City "Women's Great Lecture" visited the Memorial Hall of the Crossing of the Yangtze River Campaign and launched the unveiling and discussion activities of the "National Women's Patriotic Education Base". More than 30 people, including the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Women's Federation, the Municipal Women's Federation, the Cross River Campaign Memorial Hall (Anhui Celebrity Hall), and the Municipal "Shouxin" Women's Propaganda Team, participated.
At the symposium, the relevant person in charge of the Memorial Hall of the Battle of Crossing the Yangtze River introduced the construction of the venue, the study of red historical materials, the publicity position, the layout of the exhibition hall, and the role played by the publicity team. The city's "Shouxin" Women's League introduced relevant work experience and said that in the future, it would continue to carry out the work of "Women's Great publicity" and "Shouxin" Women's Talk, telling revolutionary stories, women's stories and Hefei stories.
The leaders of the Provincial Women's Federation and the Cross River Campaign Memorial Hall jointly unveiled the plaque for the National Women's Patriotic Education Base - the Cross River Campaign Memorial Hall. In recent years, the Memorial Hall of the Crossing of the Yangtze River Campaign has kept in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping's earnest instructions to "make good use of red resources, inherit the red genes, and pass down the red landscape from generation to generation", explored the "red propaganda+social science education" model, and achieved online and offline resonance. Since its opening in 2012, it has received over ten million visitors and has been named a national women's patriotism education base, a national defense education demonstration base, and a national education base for caring about the next generation of party history and national history. Digging into the spiritual connotations of revolutionary women represented by Ma Maojie, Chen Xiuliang, Qiu Yihan, and Kong Fanzhi, we conducted over 20 themed lectures on "The Story of Grandma Ma", "Undercover 1949", "The Legendary Silk Scarf", and "The Glorious Plaque of Wushang", with a cumulative online and offline participation of over 600000 people.
Later, the participants visited the Memorial Hall of the Crossing the River Campaign, and the lecturer told everyone about the historical background of the Crossing the River Campaign, the heroic models and moving deeds emerging from the campaign, and the CPC's people-centered development thought.
