The battle of crossing the Yangtze River, also known as the battle of Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou, was a battle of the Chinese People's Liberation Army to force the Yangtze River across during the War of Liberation. On the evening of April 20, 1949, the Second and Third Field Armies of the People's Liberation Army launched the crossing of the Yangtze River in accordance with the orders of the Central Military Commission and the Implementation Outline of the Beijing Shanghai Hangzhou Campaign issued by the General Front Committee. The victory of the Crossing of the Yangtze River Campaign created favorable conditions for the People's Liberation Army to continue advancing southward and liberate the southern provinces.

To commemorate and showcase the Crossing of the Yangtze River Campaign, the Crossing of the Yangtze River Memorial Hall was approved by the General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council. It was completed and opened on November 28, 2012. With its unique exterior design and rich exhibition content, it has become a new landmark and a new model of red tourism in Hefei's lakeside city.

On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the great victory of the Crossing of the Yangtze River Campaign, in order to promote the spirit of the Crossing of the Yangtze River Campaign, showcase the charm of the Crossing of the Yangtze River Campaign Memorial Hall and the urban style of "Great Lake City, Innovation Highland", a photography competition titled "My View of the Crossing of the Yangtze River Campaign Memorial Hall" is held.

Work requirements

1. The exhibited works must be digital files, taken after November 28, 2012, and paper works are not accepted.

2. The exhibited works are submitted online in JPG format with a minimum side length of 2000 pixels. The submitted images must retain the original files for future reference.

3. Each author's exhibited works shall not exceed 10 pieces, and group photos shall be counted as 1 piece. Each group of photos shall not exceed 6 pieces.

4. Uniform image annotations shall be provided for the exhibited works, with file names including: work name, author name, contact information, and mailing address.

5. After winning the award for the exhibited works, the copyright of the works will belong to the Crossing of the River Memorial Hall.

Prize setting: One first prize winner will receive a prize of 3000 yuan

Two second prize winners will each receive a prize of 2000 yuan

Three third prize winners will receive a prize of 1000 yuan each

100 Outstanding Awards with a prize of 200 yuan each
